They're not such a bad mob really Ian, & make pretty good travelling companions. Here's another shot but where are they?

Before Mrs hh suggests that its time for a clue allow me to say that the first white men to pass by this spot consisted of an exploration party nearly 200 years ago. I might add that it wasn't a very unified exploration party either.
That's two clues so it shouldn't be long now before I can pass the baton and get on with painting the third bedroom, for which I have a deadline!

Well let's see if my observations are correct: It's not too far from Normanhurst, so Sydney environs unless you've broken camp for the day. The vegetation indicates a body of freshwater. If it's unchanged for 200 years apart from the clearing and the Picnic table, it's a natural body of fresh water.
Cheers, Billy.
Keeping it simple is complicated.
Well now let's see how you fared Billy -
1. Correct, on a world scale at least. It's actually a comfortable day's drive from Normanhurst so a bit beyond the "Sydney environs".
2. Correct - yes it is freshwater.
3. Incorrect - I didn't say it was unchanged for 200yrs but in any case you have two of the changes correct but are incorrect re the "natural body of fresh water". The ponding is artificial due to a small man made obstruction in the stream. Oh ..... and there's also a track leading to the location & a long drop loo that wasn't there when the exploration party passed through.
