I remember back in 1988 I got pulled up to blow into the bag 5 times in 20 minutes! (in my old IIA shorty)

I spat the dummy at the last copper, told him where all the breath tests were, he agreed I sited the right spots. I also told him that if I get pulled up once more during the night i would report them for harassment!

Funny, that night I kept on getting waved through the breth tests

However when I was driving the panal van, EVERY time a copper saw me he would pull me over. They would rush up, one would be taking my details the other would be trying to see inside the back with a torch. Execpt he couldn't, had curtains and DARK glass I would calmly ask if they would like to see inside to ask first and I would only be too glad to show them. You can imagine their faces when all they saw were tools, and old engine parts

fight frie with fire.
do exctly what harold scruby does- bombard the media with your opinion, whether it's wanted or not.
i got on to the daily telegraph website and posted a comment on their comments page, hopefully they didn't use their right of deletion and let it go through.
let them know what 4wding is all about and that the soccer mum syndrome does not represent the majority of 4wders, that by imposing any bans on 4wds, they will be depriving many people of their right to a recreation.
as one of the guys at work put it, if they take the step to ban 4wds, then they should ban everything else that doesn't have a bumper height of "x" centimeters and is more than "y" centimeters wide. and while their at it, let's all wear the same suits and walk up and down in straight lines chanting "we must obey"

Every day I drive to work I see people in heavy vehicles speeding, tailgating and bullying, people who don't buy and drive 4WD's for the purpose they were designed are the people I believe these special licenses should be targeted at.

Tailgaters and people who park illegally or speed around schools and local streets are my pet hate..........and I tell em so!

Justy my two bobs worth. Cheers Scott. 8)
You arent alone Scott, i agree, i havent driven heavy vehicles, but a separate licence wouldnt be that bad, there isnt anything bad about more intensive licence training. Matt
