The problem is that 10 to 14 years ago it could have been any of the three vaccines. I remember having all three in the vaccine fridge at the time.
DTPa is currently in the schedule for 10 to 15 year olds so it is likely that you got it.
so when i back to the Dr next week, what vax's should i be asking for?
At about age 25 to 30 years there is no recommendation for a booster of pertussis containing vaccine, unless there is a chance of close contact with an infant less than age 6 months, and the (sic) father has not had a pertussis containing vaccine in over 10 years. (should be given at least 2 weeks before contact)
For adults without contact with infants <age 6 months. The recommendation is for DTPa at age 50 years or greater. A single booster.
At your age, there is no vaccines on the Immunisation schedule.
There is the option of the annual flu vax (your cost), but the flu season is coming to an end and am assuming you're not in a risk group. So unless you're of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background or work with poultry, that's not recommended.
If you're about to travel then you should consult a GP or traveller health centre who will have information on what cover you require for the destinations you intend to visit.
