I have a father in law who had a brain tumour 34 years ago. He has never been fully with it since. He has been prone to violent outbursts (now fixed with medication) and now has diabetes and is nearly blind. He recently had a stroke and the brother in law is his full time carer. The brother in law has been caring for him since his early teens. Since the stroke he has to help him move everywhere. he went out to pick his girlfriend up from a bus stop at Christmas and I had to help the father in law go to the toilet. He is very overweight now and it was very hard. Between his religious views and his semi brain damaged state I don't think he has any idea how difficult he has made his son's life. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I would just like to slip away peacefully.

i'm in full favor of euthanasia.
