Mind you, if the new James Bond won't be English white male, there are two English actors that I reckon are very talented actors who should be considered before Angie.
Sanjeev Bhaskar and Idris Elba.
Angie is an American. You can't have an American in the English Secret Service.

What about Jason Stratham, Jude Law, Benedict Cumberbatch, Hugh Laurie, Martin Clunes?

Angie is white. Maybe she's been living in the USA. After all, Bill Clinton is Irish.
The male-female thing doesn't worry me either way.
The blokes you mention are all fine actors.

I disagree. Hugh is an awesome actor but he doesn't have the Bond factor imho.

I had to google him. Certainly looks the part but I am still a huge Jackman fan.
