At a car show at Hanging Rock today - current temp is 10.2, apparent temp is 5.4...
Summer has ****ed off somewhere today...
Current temperatur here is 49.5, dropped little, was 50.1. Wind seems to have dropped a little too, now 46.3km/h, gusting 74.1. Humidity 10%.
And the fire near Leadville is getting worse, now a major fire and 'emergency advice'. Fortunately, it is about 50km from here.

Yes, it works. And the smoke plume is showing up on the radar. Wind is blowing the fire straight along the highway - there are several significant towns in line! But the wind should come more southerly soon.

If I had real friends I'd be telling them, but I don't, so I'm telling you guys, I've already told three checkout chicks and the guy at the servo.
My daughter did two triathlons in this heat over the weekend. She won Saturday and placed second yesterday.
It's not official. I have to do some paperwork, but it appears she may have made the Australian team to compete in Canada later this year in the World cross tri event.
If/when it becomes official I can only imagine how my chest is going to swell. I'm so proud of her.
