Yeh. What's going on up there? Queenslanders, as I recall have always been renowned for their stoicism, toughness and resilience. Almost as much as Balmain boys.
If they want to keep that shield, they'll have to toughen up.

Its a bit like the 500,000 tourists who come here in our tropical storm season and whinge about the rain.

I love daylight saving. I just wish they'd bring it in and then leave it. After all, in winter you go to work in the dark and come home in the dark, so who cares.

It is a quite perverse tradition really. Coldest weekend of the year and all that. Having said that, I recall snow on Christmas day here in Sassafras, so who knows, maybe it will be warm and sunny. Victoria.

Forecast is for some very cold weather down south.
One day the child bride and I will get down to Winter Wombat, when we stop being wage slaves.
Actually, I don't mind the cold, although I would prefer to be hot.
