I've got Youtube on my TV. Cassini is riveting TV, isn't it. All those digits ticking over is so hypnotic.

I did learn, sort of, when I was in Scouts, but then I was spoilt by my late father-in-law, who could splice blindfolded.

I was hoping it would be like the scene from 2001 where the astronaut descends into the obelisk. Damn now I have taken all these psychedelics for just numbers 👹

Actual rain at Morayfield - woo hoo! It's been a while. Need much more though. Firies say need at least 100mm to prevent a bad fire situation.
Already so dry there is a three week wait for water tankers around the Sunshine Coast. The council has opened emergency water collection points.

If you recon it is dry here, you should see what it is like in the Dirranbandi area,SW Qld.

There is no grass at all, nothing, just dust.
Even the younger roos are dying.
    Dams are empty

Not a good situation at all.

First really warm day today for Spring! Yay! Got to 34 at Sale - I'm just down the road at the out laws so maybe a degree or 2 cooler. Been fencing all day so hot and dirty but had a ball in the sunshine.

Time for a shower, beer then sit back and watch Richmond snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...
