So, need some help here. I know nothing about trucks except they're big, so what do I look for?
Got the date wrong, by the way, its May 16.

Does anyone else think the new LED headlights on cars seem very bright, and that the older auto dipping mirrors can't "see" them, so don't dim?

Save the best till last, Mike. Unless you look at the Western Star stand on the way out, everything else will be a disappointment.

WOW! High voltage Electrical powered trucks now? Pity about the extension lead though.

i had 1 gutter overflowing, suspect blocked downpipe

so in the rain last night, i got up on the ladder to look at the down pipe

pole i had wasnt long enough

so got out the drain snake

after 10min of twiring, the blockage wasnt moving and i was about to give up

    then suddnely, kasploosh!

    glug glug glug

    it starts draining

this morning, i poke my head out the door to check the other end is still flowing into the tank

and i can see the filter is overflowing!

go out, put gloves on, not sure what the mass is, a few leaves and unidentifiable mass

i cant smell anything, but i start dry reaching

found something, not sure if its fur or feathers

then a find what looks like a jaw bone

    like a beak with teeth!

    anyways, its removed

and im dry reaching at the thought of it, haha

good thing its not my drinking water

I know what you mean Eevo, but in our case it was drinking water.

Got the Tank Doctor out for a routine clean (not been done for 20 years or more ) Showed me a photo of a rat laying on the tank floor which he placed in a bucket & I showed 'er indoors outdoors. She nearly upchucked & claims she can still see it in her minds eye. Tank lid was promptly screwed down all around the top because the buggers seem to be able to squeeze in anywhere & this was back in the very dry season early last year. Purchased a 'new' type of spring loaded trap a couple of weeks a go have got two of the barstewards already. Never knew what hit them.

I once helped a mate whose back yard flooded and he suspected a blocked / slow storm water pipe. So next dry day we popped the lid on the pit and he climbed down (only a metre deep - dont stress, im aware of dangers going down pits) anyway, here he is, arm fully up a pipe and he's saying "I think i got it, feels like an old plastic bag..." he dragged it out and it turns out to be the skin and skeletal remains of a possum. Well, I think he threw up everything he had eaten since 2010
, and I, helpfull as ever, was totally beside myself laughing.
Two things: 1st he cleared the blockage and is now all good. And 2nd he does not chew his nails anymore!

Don’t have auto dimming mirrors so can’t comment there, but yes, I have a huge problem with LED headlights. They really hurt my eyes and seem to have bright spots depending on the viewing angle. Another thing that cheeses me off is mount of vehicles with incorrectly adjusted headlights! It seems to be a plaque these days.
