Rubbish Mick they are a list of Marches and rallies all of which have a Political agenda, It's No good "Pretending" that they are not political because they are what they are.

You don't have to be a mod to point out the bleeding obvious and IF I did want the mods to notice I would have reported Micks post, I didn't.

Would you consider a list of Australia Day events to be political?

Today is also the anniversary of Australia's only military coup - the Rum Rebellion. I might have a rum to remember.

That raises the interesting historical question - was Governor Bligh really found hiding under his bed in his pyjamas, or was that just military propaganda to ridicule him?

Copy and paste from the link

More than 100,000 people took part in Invasion Day rallies

A rally doesn’t sound all that inviting to all

The more I read the article the more I’m convince the choice i’ve made today will be more enjoyable.

The Invasion Day rally begins at 11am outside Parliament House on Spring Street in Melbourne/Naarm. The theme this year is “pay the rent”,

The story I heard was that he'd ripped the arse out of his pyjama Pants on a broken Bed spring & didn't wish to be caught in a embarrassing situation with his nads hanging out so ducked under the bed.

Makes sense to me. No it doesn't, sadly it is a load of ballcocks.

Just curious as to what 100,000 folk hope to achieve?

Do they want to turn the clock back to Day1 & all that entails with no half measures?

Seems all so bloody pointless to me in 2020 but I suppose it gets them out in the sunshine & fresh air for a few hours.

They'd be walking home 'cos there'd be no Trains, Trams or Ferries or Ubers just for starters let alone picking up a Big Mac on their way.

Oi you, don't you call me a Bandicoot.

Don't waste it, put a new fence in, already you have one hole in, only another 30 to go

Do you think you can get other Bandicoots to "fall into line" (Did you see what I did there?)

There is Nothing whatsoever "Political: about Australia Day celebrations, How do you work that out Mick.
Australia Day has NO political agenda it is simply a public holiday that is celebrated by people from ALL walks of life and ALL the different political factions FFS, The invasion day ****wits are the only ones trying to turn Australia Day into a political event and creating Division with all their marches, rallies and all the other claptrap.
Being a Cristian how would you feel if a bunch of tossers wanted to cancel Christmas and Easter because these customs also arrived with the first settlers.

Like I first stated the invasion day rallies and Marches are Purely Political events and nothing you can say will change that Fact.
