I am off to a wedding shortly at the Townsville Casino and I have the worst head cold ever. I went out for drinks with the Groom last night and I drove. I want to have a few drinks tonight but I feel miserable. I have nasal spray and Panadol. Nose still won't stop dripping.

I feel for you but, I'm glad it's you and not me.

Try stuffing tissues up your nose. Might not be good for you but it will give the others a laugh.

At home now drinking beer. The Grooms's Dad collapsed and was taken to hospital. We all knew he only had months to go. He has an inoperable tumour on his liver. He is not expected to make it through the night. The are having a family only service at the hospital and possibly a lunch tomorrow. He is a lovely man. Originally Welsh the Grandfather flew bombers for England. The father was a mechanic at Mt Isa for years and settled in Townsville. The Mum died when my mate was a kid. My mate was a crewy on Blackhawks, Chinooks and then went to the RAAF to C17s. But sad really. It's his and her second marriage. They wanted it done before he went.

Funny how those oldies do it,my wife's father said all he wanted to do is get to 90.

Which he did, then promptly died three days later.

You're welcome I'm sure but we'll have to wait until SWMBO is far far away.
    Cheers, Billy.

Obviously he should have aimed higher. I the saying goes if you're able to achieve the task in the time allocated then the task you set wasn't hard enough.

Perhaps he should have aimed for a ton.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Doesn't my Mk3 look pretty today.

Tray is back in place, just needs to be bolted up, wheel arch extensions waiting for new rubber bead so they can be re-fitted. Maybe I can take it out for a weekend next month.
