My 101 is full of spiders - little brown ones I call 'car spiders' as that's the only place I see them - They live behind the mirrors of the Hilux and Camry too.

Reminds me of when the DIL had a huntsman run across the passenger side of the windscreen in front of her. Family legend has it she screamed hysterically and climbed into the son's lap on the driver's side. He slammed on the brakes and the Hilux skidded sideways to a stop. She then bolted outside and ran around in circles, screaming hysterically. She refused to get back in until he not only murdered the huntsman, but deposited it's mangled remains on the roadside. As they drove home she scrabbled around in the glove box looking for baby huntsmen. Once home she insisted the son spray the entire vehicle with surface spray.
Yeah, Tdi's are actually pretty smooth.
A 4BD1 would certainly vibrate more.
I thought of my BIL's 80 series, which vibrates like a bull on heat. It would be a spider magnet.
I must tell him - his wife will be so pleased at the idea of riding in a 4WD which attracts spiders - not!
Would I be correct to assume an electric vehicle would be relatively arachnid free ?
What about Harley bikes , they seem to vibrate wildly at idle ?
