Thread: Is LandyAndy a long way from home?

I've seen that same thing many times in the NT.

There was a grader driver from (I think....) the then Dept of Construction , whom I used to meet quite often on my work around the NT.

If I recall , his name was 'speck' Nevitt , and he often rigged his camp up for moving just like the photos above.

I rode past that rig when the police had just pulled him up.
Just knew it was going to be a bad day for the driver.

not that outrageous,,
grader drivers for big shires often camp out for weeks at a time. I reckon this guy just comes in for tyre changes

Have also seen similar setups.......umm maybe one trailer behind each grader

That's how far the poor beggar has to go for a swift ale after work.

What do you think is in those tanks? It ain't water.
I would have thought you'd need some sort of license to make that much home brew.

About the only thing I get to tow with my grader is a bogged truck or roller
