There once was a plan for the NBN in my area, but when the current government came to power it was changed and now we don't know when it will happen. My work got fed up waiting and shelled out about $10 k for its own connection from the nearby rail station. How can you run a school nowdays without a good internet connection? Apparently train stations have the NBN.
When we lived in Thailand a decade ago we had better Internet than here, yet this is supposed to be a developed country. What a joke.

I've got NBN here, although, at times you wouldn't think it.
It seems to slow down in the evenings around the time people are netflixing.

We have had an NBN fixed Wi-Fi tower sitting 1k from our house for about 12 months now but it is still not up & running.
    Still testing it apparently?

We have bought each of the 5 kids a Tablet for Chrissy, it would be very nice to have the NBN but instead we will have to allocate internet time to each kid because our current 4G internet will only allow 5 connections at once & we already run 3 devices off it.

We decided the Tablets would be a good idea because in June we were told the tower would be going by October.
Right, I believe you, what ever!

I think they are telling you porkies Andy. Ours has not suffered any outage. Or are you talking about a satellite connection?
