4WD Supa Centre - decent quality?

    https://www.4wdsupacentre.com.au/pro...ar/swags1.html
I just bought my disco 2 about a month ago and now looking to get a bit of a setup, for mainly beach camping, happening. Roof basket, awning with side wall, swag, compressor etc. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the products from these guys. Everything seems about 2 to 3 times as cheap when compared to ARB, TJM etc. Comparing the awnings to TJM for example, Supa Centre awning is half price, made in same country, higher GSM rating, can take attachments (shade side, tent, mosquito net etc).
Steel roof baskets are 3 times as cheap, it's made of durable steel, how bad could it be?
Swag again has a higher GSM rating, looks similiar quality to ARB version.
Compressor pumps out 160L/Min for $86. Supercheap have a 40L/Min version for $100.
Before I go, possibly waste a lot of money here, does anyone have any tips?
    Thanks.

How long have you had them and how much use have they had though? I'm sure everything will be fine while it's new and hardly used. What I'm worried about is when everything has had a good amount of use and has been exposed to the elements. Will zippers start breaking, canvas stretching/ripping, parts rusting, components breaking and generally become worse for wear a lot quicker than the more expensive products sold at ARB, TJM etc.

I've had my winch and awning for a few years now. They have been great. Just check the winch and grease it every now and then. I wouldn't buy a snatch strap or recovery gear from them though. That's where I would pay a bit more at arb or tjm. The compressor is pretty quick and has held up quite good so far. But I've only had it about a year or so.

Our awning with walls has been OK for the price. They make their money as an online retailer with high volume sales on lower profit margins.

    Read the reviews

I have just purchased a VMS GPS, well I should say I have just paid for a VMS GPS, no sign of said GPS.
Phone calls are automatically terminated at their end, I even rang a dealer who gave me HQs phone number and that just rang off several times before I gave up.
I understand their pricing policy but their customer service isn't, isn't service at all.
I have now requested a cancellation on the product and will happily pay a little more where I get treated like a person not an idiot.

I have an awning, side wall, awning tent, spare wheel cover, 2x 6" light bars, 12v shower, also 160 watt solar panel. Seems like reasonable quality. I actually had a chance to compare the awning with a Darche one. Same size and material but the Darche awning had plastic pole pivots, where the Kings one had metal pivots. Poles were same material as well. Everything else was exactly the same. I think ur paying extra for the name. The Darche awning was more than twice the price of the Kings one. I have a Repco twin head compressor that i got for mates rates, very fast. Ive got a Techniice double swag and self inflating mattress and 50 litre icebox. I haven't unpacked the swag as yet. Im happy with the gear ive gotten from 4wd super store.

    Cheers Rod

Ps. still waiting for the 4 metre led light strip with dimmer switch. Delivery expected mid January.

Edit....just received an email from them, the led strip has arrived early and will be sent by Monday.😆😆

I've recently bought a Kings Big Daddy swag from them. The swag took an insane amount of time to turn up, about 8 weeks. I suspect they take orders and then buy in a big batch of the product and then distribute rather than stocking for immediate delivery like you would expect without searching through the fine print.

That really annoying grip said, without having camped in the new swag, but having set the thing up, I honestly am really impressed by it. The swag does look like a really good bit of kit, especially compared to my old swag which is half the size, and worth more than twice as much (and leaks).

I cant comment on any of their other products.
    Cheers

I have a 24 inch Led light bar from them when they were with 4WD action magazine, and got it with a subscription offer , was pretty happy with the quality.

I see there is a recall on their 60 litre fridges which may catch fire.
