thats incorrect.
PP didnt have spare capacity. its second unit it broken and hasnt produced power in 2 years.

Just because it will fire some up....

On the above point there are currently 5 under development in Australia.... the race is on!!

There were many reasons why Kennett put the SEC into private hands (probably a C.A. subject so I ain't going there!), & I'm not saying lack of maintenance is a result, 'cause I don't know. On the other hand, the 300% "levy" that I mentioned hasn't helped (viability) either has it?

The company revealed the plant had been operating at only half capacity for more than a year.
