I second Daves points,, if your new to the 4x4 scene, some sound advice on how to drive is the best thing you can do.
I've been driving 4x4's for about 30 years now,, never had a "lift kit" or bigger than standard tyres. Never really been outdone by big kitted vehicles either.
IMO, learn to drive first, you'll be surprised where you'll go, and just how far you will too. Start making modifications to you vehicle and you'll have to keep on going to keep it going.
Things like dual batteries and a fridge or an air compressor would be my first choice, unless your planning on driving through roo type country, then a bull bar first instead.
