True. He was wearing a Leather jacket, Dragons and boots...
But the result could have still been messy...
Tells me he won't be trying it again (and has sold the 1400 and gone old man Harley)

Im sure no one on here would ever ride a bike in this non approved safety gear would they ;).
I know from experience and have the scares when i was young and silly and the memory of the pain and inconvenience from not wearing the appropriate gear .
And ill tell you i was not doing more that 20 ks when this happened and i still have the scars .
This is why i strongly detest idiots on bikes that dont wear the appropriate gear and what ever the weather or speed it is just plain dumb .
It`s all fine till it happens to you ;)
Hi,
In a funny country, far away, and a long time ago, we used to cruise down to the beach riding in thongs, bathers and a towell around the neck.
Thought nothing of it at the time.
Lucky my number didn't come up.
Cheers

No doubt many of us that are game admit to doing it and some survived with out any dramas ;)
It is the ones that brag about it with the mentality of i dont do over 60k and its only a 15 minute ride to justify their foolishness
Newtons Law what goes up must come down also if you flaunt it , it will come back to bite you:angel:
Any way i think some one does not need another lecture from me no names;)
They hit 200k's no worries around here, often on the M1 in the early hours of the morning.....
The police are finding it dam hard to catch them.....
Any pics by speeding cameras seem to get pics of defaced or partly obscured plates:o:D
One guy recently won't do it again,he hit the rear of a truck that was doing 100k's.
All good Rangieman [emoji6]

I've been there Tombie. Believe it or not you can recover.
Having had the pain of a prolapsed disk, I can say i'ts probably the worst you will ever experience. I'm pretty much over it now and am even capable of short bursts of heavy work.
By the way. I love it when off topics go off topic. :p:angrylock::wasntme:
