Law & Order "Stuffed"?....Absolutely.
On Ch 10 News tonight.
Motor cycle rider in court over 180 (ONE HUNDRED & EIGHTY!!!) traffic offences, including "baiting" Police to chase him, being the cause of FOUR Police pursuits, driving at nearly THREE HUNDRED KPH on a Melbourne Freeway, etc etc etc.
What is his punishment, surely gaol,....no way,....simply the usual,...an i8 month CBO & three year licence cancellation (it's already cancelled), and He's going to get the bike back.
Can you believe it,..of course,...it's "the norm".

TV?..watch the News every night,..if I don't quote a source, there are those on here who will accuse me of making it up?
"Those Speeds"?...Of course,....Not safely, but if that doesn't concern you, there are plenty of roads in Aussie where you can do those speeds,.....if ya're stupid enough.
Anyway, it's just been reported again on Ch 7, who have confirmed He's also getting the bike back,....also seen laughing, & giving the finger to onlookers/the press etc.....and there are plenty of hi-po bikes that will do 180mph+...work it out in Ks!
Never ridden a bike, but my passion is cars, V8s in particular, & I've driven 'em pretty fast,....not quite 300ks though!
Anyway, this simply bears out the original focus of my thread. (IMHO of course).

There's one just out of town - I have seen footage of a bike pulling just shy of 300 along it..

Not mine, not condoning it..

And an errant Roo or Emu would have made it all turn ugly really quick...
