You only have to watch the news or pick up any paper to see examples of ****weak magistrates and judges pass sentence according to their own "do gooder" logic, and not in accordance with any community expectations. Hell, even when governments have passed MANDATORY sentencing rules for certain crimes (such as the "three strikes" rules that were passed some time back), these parasites in the judiciary still refuse to apply LAW in their sentencing. Why else do you think Campbell Newman took steps towards removing or limiting the sentencing discretion allowed to these parasites in the courts.

But it's obviously not worth arguing with you about this - it is impossible to see reality when your head is firmly implanted in a dark place.
