Regardless of the "Intent" someone lost their child due to the irresponsible actions of an unlicensed driver, The penalty was completely inadequate.
For Gods sake you would cop more for speeding than this ****wit got for murdering someone's kid.

And it was not the woman's first unlicensed driving offence, and on prior court appearances she has been physically aggressive.
An eye witness to the accident said the woman made no attempt to help the boy, and showed no remorse.

Aren't about 10% of drivers found to be unlicensed in RBT checks? So that's a general problem, not specifically ethnic or immigrants. And didn't the Victorian police say only 1.5% of crime was African?

Probably one should have a look at who those drivers are.
I worked with a heap of Asians who didnt have licenses and couldn't care less about the fact.

Regardless of Race, Colour or Creed ANYONE caught driving Unlicensed or driving under a suspended licence needs to be dealt with Harshly, Especially when these people cause harm to others End of Story.
For such a small section of the community being responsible for even only 1.5% of crime is a very serious situation and these people should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, Sadly this is NOT the case.
I can understand that Not being able to read signage and other communication problems can be problematic for new arrivals But violence, robbery and home invasions are completely unacceptable ANYWHERE in the World so there is Absolutely NO excuse for this sort of behaviour.

I agree completely. Treat everyone the same based on their behavior. Therefore, since white males are the vast majority of offenders, let's not single out immigrants or any other minor group. Treat everyone the same under the law.
