I heard on the news this morning, they had to rescue over 40 cars from flood water around your area.

I took and sent photos of the flood in action, pics of damaged goods and a list of damaged contents.
So far Shannons have been quite good, they update me by email regularly, they shopped online to find the value of the replacement items , no need to provide receipts or evidence of what you paid for the items, my BBQ was discontinued, so they compromised with me. They even found my Waeco with cover bag $300 cheaper than what i had originally paid for it.( it was on special) They have settled on damaged contents, they were quick to deposit the funds into my bank after they had an electrical assessor come and give his report and wrote the items off. I get to keep old items them also.
I have had the building assessor out, but he requested and engineers report, today the 2 engineers came out and took photos, did lots of drawring plans of foundations, and asked for my imput, they did tell me it will be 3 weeks before Shannons will get their report on work that will be required.
So will see what happens now.
