I've spent a reasonable amount of time at sea, but the biggest vessel I've been at sea on was under about 1,000 tonnes, and most of my sea time has been under sail in something under 10 tonnes. This does not include time in inland waters, including from a 20m dugout to a 2m dinghy.

Amusingly the vessel I regularly mastered was replaced but retained and reregistered as a pleasure craft. With that administrative stroke of pen, I suddenly became unqualified to operate the said vessel.
Commercial tickets come with domestic ones attached these days. Take your old btickit to AMSA and they might hand you a shiny new one.
    Cheers, Billy.

The first dusting of snow of the season this morning. Not much but usually a precursor of a more substantial fall later. Also here is weather forecast for today. I have also included the forecast for next Monday so you can see how it is trending. Goodnews...no rain.
