Hey, do you mind? Stop nicking my crazy well thought out ideas if you please.

I think this is the environment you will see the self driving vehicles in first. The location is already well mapped, they already use GPS based equipment and it is a place where there are few other independently moving objects to worry about. Do have an image of it firing laser bird frighteners as it moves

Will further reduce the number of jobs in rural areas and if they lock it down like some agricultural manufacturers currently do they will ‘own’ the farm. Can see them supplying the machine and all inputs then controlling it remotely from wherever their HQ or call centre is located. Farmer just supply’s the land and makes decisions in regard to when and what the crop will be. But then I did enjoy walking the fences and mending the broken wire which will still need the farmer so all is not lost

Typical, Texas doesn't do things by halves.

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

With all that bloody malarkey I'd be ****ing angry as well. My experience with an Adelaide based Dealership back when they only had 12 months warranty on my D1 Facelift was that they seem to be a bunch of *****.

Thanks for sharing that DL. I thought Lebanon was the worst but it seems not.

And the second-biggest bang was in Bombay harbour, where an ammunition/general cargo ship caught fire (raw cotton) at dockside... and after a tantalising wait, went Very Big Bang, disturbing the whole docks and chucking ships all over the place. Naturally, there wasn't much useful left on the Fort Stikine
Gold bars were also part of the cargo, and they went AWOL and a Very long way. We know how far, as a gentleman of high morals found one.
    - and handed it in to Police.
