After lots of broken bones I sometimes mention the Six Million Dollar Man- Steve Austin and his superpowers in Strength, Speed, Binocular vision. All very impressive to myself in about 1974-1778! My own Titanium additions are more like Ballast It did allow me to stand, walk and run so is impressive medical science in my own case of course


Trivia time : Steve Austin was played by Harvey Lee Yeary (born April 23, 1939). He was known professionally as Lee Majors. He was for a while married to Mary Ferrah Leni Fawcett RIP she died

My roundabout way back to googling Cheech and Chong is: many people have no idea about Steve Austin and miss my jokes about my titanium and my sub teenage crush on Ferrah was wide eyed on a black and white TV

There used to be a similar message, in full neon colour, straddling four lanes of the Pacific Highway, visible if not readable, for miles. The irony was not lost on me.
