Hi Lughna, I saw this some time ago but the site is by one disgruntled owner and a few others with problems.
I had a similar problem with a series II Discovery but my problem was with the pack of crooks at Austral Motors in Brisbane and after months of problems, I made a number of calls to LRA and a number of calls were made by LRA to Austral, with no success, so LRA organised for me to have as much of the problems fixed at Bruce Lynton Land Rover on the Gold Coast.
So I would have to say, in my case, LRA did it’s best for me and thanks to Bruce Lynton’s excellent service, even though they did not sell me the vehicle in the first place, I not only stuck with landies, I’ve bought my last 2 from Lyntons.
You can have a bomb and my Series II was an absolute dog of a lemon but my biggest problem was that the dealer couldn’t give a flying frig and even replaced parts off the vehicle that they had damaged, with damaged second-hand parts.![]()
As long as LRA does the right thing, you ( and I ) should be OK.
