I work in the parts delivery game . We have timed runs , now told to avoid toll except the gateway bridge unless absolutely necessary . If we have to skip breaks and lunch to do this so be it. Working late is a freebie as well unless agreed upon before setting out. We will see how long before before the clients complain about late deliveries.

I would love to see what the bastards say if they had to do the job. Line haul to point to point , the time and distance usually doesn't match with Siri.

Funny reading this, things are a bit more relaxed around our way.

People ask when the truck will be in?
I reply - "Usually Friday, sometimes Saturday but it could be Sunday..... Depends. Got here Thursday once."
If I'm in a bad mood I just say "Buggered if I Know!"

You folks in the city are to intense!

PS This week the truck got here about 6 last night.

I think most of the triples that Toll runs over here are 90km/h speed limited - pritty much every one of them I overtake on the highway has a 90km/h speed limited sign on the back anyway

Road train speed limit is 90.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Not sure about down south, but the trucks are certainly doing more than 90 on the Pacific.

Yes, I've seen the three trailer versions used out west, but isn't a two-trailer rig also a road train?
