    Yes I believe so if it's using a dolly I.e. Two full sized trailers using a Dollywood connect the two.....

    I assume you're not talking B Double.

    I have just been given eight of B Double sets to manage...wish we had prime movers but Contractors haul them for us. A learning curve for me.

    Not east of Toowoomba, they are PBS Approved Long Vehicles, as per the signage front and rear.

    It amazes me that we can get pinged for trimming 3mm from a sign, to make it fit, yet, the average motorist doesn't even notice the signs.

    I must admit I don't understand the distinctions between what is and isn't a road train, which is why I just said 'trucks' in my post.
    Mind you, when you're cruising on the speed limit on the Pacific Highway and something with two trailers roars past, as happened repeatedly last night, those distinctions are a bit moot.
    I think setting a 90 limit for certain trucks might save fuel and be OK on motorways, but on narrower roads it just makes the roads less safe as other vehicles try to get around the trucks.
