Nah it's cool. She has a snorkel so diving it is fine.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

    Hey All,

To Pedro, mate I have a D3 V8 HSE and yep it does boogy, so keep the dream alive, even if it is on petrol and the tank at 86 litres could be bigger, aint that what jerry cans are for . I wish they did have it in this "shoot out" or any of the shoot outs, maybe some of these mags think somebody wouldnt take the HSE out bush who know's. Despite having only minimal off road at this stage ( click on link below for a good larf, or cut and paste in case I have done it wrong), on road with the windows down listening to the V8 crank up and ooh baby it roars. Plus it has reasonable take off more hooning at the traffic lights, aint let one buzz box beat me yet . I feel a landy will win as the other mags I buy ( read all of em) has the TDV6 or RRS winning comparo's in one way or another. I concur with Barny on the ML500, my dad has one ( mind you he uses it as his shopping trolley so he doesnt have to use his other car), I have driven it on a few occasions, and sure the grunt is great, but overall it is a luxury car trying to be a 4WD. The reason I love my car is that is a 4WD with some luxury and when I get the experience will take it properly off road. Having seen mine compared to his, he thinks the D3 leaves his for dead .

    Regards

    Hey DiscotdI,

Nope cant blame traction control, gotsa blame the twit behind the wheel . First time I took it off road, tyres fully inflated and in high range, soft soft sand and high tide rising, need I say more After being pulled out once, did it again ops: once I was told and shown how to let air out and put into low range, she pulled right out. Guess who be going for some off road lessons . Not the best advertisement for the new D3, moreso with the accolade stickers on the back ie 4x4 of the year etc.

Don't forget to turn off the DSC. Nearly every time I drive onto the beach I get stuck as I keep forgetting to turn off the DSC. ops:

    Hey Jamo,

Thanks for the tip, will remember for when I venture back out again onto sand, plus I will be getting all terrain tyres instead of the slicks it came with.

    Regards
