Was out on the hills today.

Today was calm, bright and dry...a rare combination over here. I managed to get some photos.
The last one is of the main road home. Bear it in mind when you are stuck in city traffic....

If this is an Irish "Where am I Competition", My guess is Donegal.
    Cheers, Billy.

    Bang on Sherlock.
It was early morning and everything just looked so well. Even the lakes looked blue instead of the usual brown from the peat hills around. Has'nt rained for a while so everything is very dry. There's been a few hillfires one very bad one going on at the moment. This was taken earlier today but it has gotten very bad now covering a large area.

That sort fire is a problem here where it's common. Over there I imagine it's a major drama.
    Cheers, Billy.

Not quite that far Ian. Anyway, these days I restrict myself to the Ports of Sydney, unless someone with lots of loot gets down on hands and knees and begs.
    Cheers, Billy.

    Red face

    Lovely. Brings back memories.
I had never thought about bushfires in Ireland, since I just assumed it was wet and miserable every day, but I can see it could be a problem. Do they happen often?
