Yes, winters in the Moke. The only troubles I had was "fish'n'chip" shop windows. I get that in the Landrovers. And the heater, compared with the Landrovers, the Moke was always toasty.
I had a Moke without a roof for a while. One cold winters evening, quite late, I was driving along Bourke Road. I stopped at a red light. A 'W' class tram pulled up beside me. The door opened. The conductor stuck his head out and asked "Are you cold?"
    "I have a heater." I answered.
Happy with that, he returned to the tram and closed the door.
Middle of winter, no roof, sitting in an motorised oversized roller skate, of course I was cold. I was freezing.
But, geez, I had fun in that Moke.
I wouldn't know,,,, Would you know where I can get hold of a green ute

They're not unwinders. They wind me up to buggery and back.
    Cheers, Billy.

They did have Ignition covers and I treasured mine, although, I went across the Yadboro at water over the bonnet speed and I had to wait half an Hour after liberal application of WD40, to be on my way again. Then I had to cross the water again. This time she kept going.
Cold!! I'll give you cold. My Sister and I were invited to stay at Falls Creek for a spot of Skiing. It was so cold on the way down that the windscreen iced up. The only way to defrost it was to take my glove off and hold my bare finger tips on the glass to make peep holes.
I loved my Moke too but it was destroyed by a Monaro.
    Cheers, Billy.

My BiL's car broke down near Armidale late one freezing, mid-winter night, he cadged a lift to town in an open Moke. The young bloke driving was in shorts and a tee shirt, greeting each tree as they past "Helloooo treeeee.". He was off his face on dope and didn't exceed 20mph on the highway. After an hour and half of terror my BiL was most relieved to get out.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Moke drivers are capable of anything. Nothing could touch it on a twisty road.

Every one who got out of mine after having been prized off the OMG Handle, was visibly shaken and or shaking and not always from the cold.
    Cheers, Billy.

Bet my Cooper S could have given it a shake. And I'd have been warm. Well, warmer than you.
