Billy, around forty five years ago there was a bit of graffiti on a railway underpass near Ivanhoe ( Vic ) that said "Beam me up Scotty, there's no intelligent life down here". Sure it wasn't unique, but it was truthfull. FB proves it, and we are just dinosaurs.

Speaking of intelligence, I didn't keep any Bushmills for you. You should have come, there were two bottles. Intelligence was optional, especially where Mark was involved....

More power to your collective elbows. I hope Mark can remember more of his elucidations than I do when I go down the Bushmills road.
Unfortunately parental duties and cryophobia kept me away.
    Cheers, Billy.

Man has been taking and killing fish (Including sharks) for food for thousands of years, It's just what they do.
Sharks have been killing people foolish or unlucky enough to venture into their territory for the same amount of time, It's just what they do.
I can guarantee that Man has severely depleted the shark and fish populations over the years But sharks haven't even scratched the surface on the human population.
The sharks are not the villains here, We are

Bloody sharks need to try harder. Too lacking in imagination. There are way too few admirable attempts by sharks to penetrate into environments where humans wouldn't expect an attack. (i.e. far up river, leaping INTO boats etc)

Leave the sharks alone, here's a new threat, let's have a culling program on those bait stripping sealice.
    Seems they attack humans.

Once again, that particular niche seems to be the province of the salties.
