No, I suspect it's the compressor. I won't know till I get up to Kalgoorlie at the end of next week and plug it into the T4.
I looked at the compressor and it's one of the models that was known to fail. I warned the Tech in Kal out and he is going to make sure he can lay his hands on any component in the suspension system.
So now I've got to drive to Kal (400km) at about 1" above access height. Since no air can be put in to firm the springs, the ride is a bit floaty.
I am going to find out, however, if it's possible to fit the air tank with an inlet valve. That way, in an emergency, I could hook my portable compressor up to recharge the tank manually so to speak.
Do you know what the batch or serila numbers are that i dentified the fault compressors? Can you easily see this number when you pull the plastic cover off?
Also the idea about installing an inlet valve is an intersting one. Some have considered the reverse of your idea which is to use the D3's compressor as a way to inflate tyres but I think that is asking for trouble.
Hope all goes well and you get the suspension fault resolved.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the feedback on the tyres, for some reason I havent got the little email that lets me know there has been a response, and I forgot to follow up as well 8O . Maybe I forgot to tick the box, anyhoo, had a chat to my local dealer here on the 19inchs and not much if any about, so may have to look at 18's rims for offroad and applicable tyres. I read a test on I think they are Pirelli Scorpions AT's, plus others, they seem a pretty good all rounder tyre. Any thoughts?
