    Spot the difference

Okay now who can pick the differences between these 2 * D3's :?:

It's not just the rego :?

They are both TDV6's, HSE's with rear diff lock and ebony interiors 8) .

    (See answers below)

    1. PCH has a UHF aerial (big deal!)
    2. PCH doesn't have SATNAV therefore doesn't have the full 4WD info displaying on the screen.
    3. Both D3's are on 17*8" wheels with 38mm offset but have different brands of wheel. Mine are Performance Wheels and the other D3 are the new GMAX wheel which looks a little like the D3 SE wheel.
    4. I've got Cooper ST's which are chipped to buggery and the other D3 has the Cooper STT which are showing no signs of chipping yet (only had one trip).
    5. I forgot the Front Parking sensors on mine - (Thanks, Scouse for pointing that out).

The Build dates are separated only by 2 months (Mine is Feb 05 and the other is Apr 05). Even in these 2 months the wiring in the battery box are different between the two. Looks like product improvement was still going on during Production.

As soon as all of my ST tread blocks fall off (which won't be too long now) 8O I'll get a set of STT's which really look like they will last longer on rocky stuff.

The front one in the top pic has adaptive headlights & front parking sensors.
The rear one in the top pic appears to have the personal telephone option.

Good to see the D3's in the bush.

Am I wrong but is the thing on the rear one that looks like a glass roof, actually the shadow from the tree!

My set of BB6's, complete with STT's is due at the end of next week.

Outlaw and Jamo, yeh the tree has cast a shadow over the roof of the D3.

Hope you like your STT's. They certainly go okay on rocky tracks. Haven't seen them in the mud yet but they got to be better than the ST's.

Can't see any difference. Both must have stacks of money for their toys.

Nice wagons apart from the colour - I hate white.

Have not had my STT,s chip at all yet either.

    Hi PCH
When I bought my ST's the dealer warned against using highway pressure in rocky terrain and unsealed roads with alot of shale type rock. They recommended dropping pressure to 30psi depending on conditions and lower if off roading.
No chipping on mine yet,5000ks and several offroad trips.

    Hey PCH,

Great cars those D3's , the tyres look great, did your HSE come with 19inch rims? Mine has and it is deeming difficult to find AT's that will fit it. My option is looking like having a second pair of 17's/18's. ANy thoughts,

    Regards

    Stevo

ALso did either of them have the glass roofs? Hard to tell in pic, mine has 3 including sunroof, thought was standard?
