Not a confectionary, but I remember the pie and peas from the pie wagon at school lunch in Rockhampton. No where can I get peas like those. And the pies were not frozen ones, heated up.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Luckily, again in a specialty sweet store, you can get your fix if you so desire.
    Choo-Choo Bars Licorice 50 | Lolly Warehouse

    Is that different packaging?

Chocolate coated licorice 'bullets' @ 8 a penny.

    A small packet (10) of Craven A cigarettes @ 1/-9d, a box of matches @ 2d and 8 bullets all for 2 bob

What's interesting looking back is that no one raised an eyebrow when a grade 5 primary school kid made such a purchase, by grade 6 I was smoking unfiltered Chesterfields and Midway little cigars.

Yes. In another life our ship called into Adelaide, and I had a pie floater. Now, through no fault of my own, I was under the influence, [ ****ed] I loved it, I have to go back to have one sober. It is on the bucket list.
