Maybe not Communist, but that post clearly works for American NBC, given their edict on reporting on each other after the Matt Lauer mess.....

No. My post didn't. However, as a Mod, are you prepared to get into an argument here? I will. Just for the sake of it, you understand.

    Waiting for the predictable......

You, and many other Mods, don't get it, do you? I actually agree with you, but I would like it if you actually explained yourselves. My particular joke, which you agreed was funny, was only political if you knew of a person's politics, and grasped a particular concept. I would argue that many on here would not have done so, and therefore the politics were yours, not mine.

I re-state, I am not arguing the point. However, I AM arguing against the people who administer the point. In fact, I believe I am better qualified to judge a "political" comment than Mick, or most other people on here who presume to do so.

Not sure how, but sometimes, eevo, you hit the nail on the head. You have done so here, at least from where I sit.

    Oh dear,

I must have missed something I did not see any political intent / malice
I'll have to re read the rules, I didn't think political views were infringmentable .

As far as politics go I don't even know where I stand then Ive spent $20,000 converting a $5000 Series to Electric, but not for Environmental reasons , Im certainly no Greenie & don't want to be associated with that mob . On the other hand I drive a 2013 Iveco Daily 4x4 (and to get sort of back onto topic ) which I have removed the DPF and EGR from so thats a bit of a head scratcher . I guess one cancels out the other .

    Whats wrong talking politics anyway....
As long as no personal attacks involved...

For the record, I an just stating the fact that USA drop bombs using predator drones so following the same logic, they will want some tesla-like self piloting remote-control ground vehicles.
So there must be huge money going into EV R&D.

Sorry to burst your bubble But the MQ-1 Predator drone is powered by a 4 cyl turbocharged Petrol engine producing 115HP NO Electric engine in that puppy.
