    No revenge, no red tape...

Unless there were threats from one individual to another it wouldn’t get a look in.

    Saw that on FB.
Had something very similar happen in Rockingham a few weeks ago.
We had been circling around looking for a car park for about 15 mins. Pulled back into a car park area and another car waiting for a car park for a car to pull out, fair enough I thought he has got that one. As coming around the other side a car further back pulls out so circled round to pull in, this **** runs in front of us and stands in the car park carrying on that they had been looking for a car park for ages ahead of us (I called BS as they had not been in the area any more than 5 mins). I should have just run the idiot down, got another car park a few mins later, but the point was we had just gone ok to the first park as he was in front of us, but the second. Made my blood boil, the arrogance, pretty lucky he was not in the same cafe we went to as i would have likely shirt fronted the retard. I know not the done thing, but complete arrogance to do that and want both parks as an option.
Interesting to know how one would legally stand if I hit him with the car as he was impeding traffic.
If he had been in the carpark before we turned back in I might get it, but he ran up when he saw us pulling in to it.

There is that, of course. Still, there are cameras I guess. What good they are is another matter.

Dunno about SA, but here in Vic most, if not all, car parks apply the road rules. Of course, as Paul points out, this particular incident was in NYC, but here certainly all council operated car parks, and many privately owned ones such as in shopping malls, have legally enforceable rules identical to those that apply on the roads themselves.
