I must make more of an effort - I donate blood every 3 months when the Blood Bank is in town, and maybe I make that excuse about not donating plasma, but I do go past a donation center in the city quite often so no excuses really...

Plasma donation you need to commit way more time....1 - 1 1/2 hrs from when you arrive to when you leave.

Whole blood is a fraction of the time.

The Brisbane CBD I’m amazed at the variety of people.....a lot of young girls to retired people to office workers......

I got talk got a couple at my last donation, they have size kids between them and the barely look 25......they were quite up front in saying that donating plasma every fortnight meant they save money on lunches and they have a re-occurring appointment st 12:30. A nice young couple that were happy to donate...and have a snack.

Some countries pay for blood donations.....I believe it has pro and cons I.e. some doners not being honest on the questionnaire.

I’m happy to give up my time.....well my boss doesn’t mind me being out of the office to 2 ish hours.

Good on you for donating. I have done it, but not recently, so must get back into it.
