I remember a night I get an email of a desperate Disco 2 driver with a stuffed fuel pump stuck out the other side of the black spur. They have a baby on board it was a cold night. I felt sorry for them I offeredi if you can get to Healesville, I will meet them 1/2 way. So Heather and I hopped into our car and drove there to help them. They guy was grateful, said he would buy all his future parts from me. NEVER HEARD BACK From HIM.
Then there are customers like me, who you wish you could get rid of but they keep coming back.

That reminds me, I have a new order. Something from each corner of your vast warehouse.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

It is people like you that appreciate good customer service and quality parts that keep Mar`s on board or up late at night

My Disco 2 shredded it's serpentine belt just as I got on the bridge over the Murray at Echuca. Luckily it was a straight line with slow moving steady traffic and I managed to pull off the road just inside the Victorian border so I could call RACV. It was a worrying 30 seconds or so with heavy steering and next to no brakes.

Then, once then belt was replaced and I managed to drive back home to Melbourne I found engine oil sprayed all over the engine bay. More stuff to get fixed.

Only drove my D2a on the weekend to get to/from church...so all it did was it's usual quiet leaking on the roadway outside our house. No expensive dramas for me!

I'm going to see my accountant before tax time about putting you on as a dependent on my tax return.

Hit in the drivers wheel at an intersection.. not at fault... but have to wait for several weeks for parts... luckily there is a company that supplies a car to not at fault parties called 'Right to drive' so we at least have a rental Craptiva until her majesty is back on the road...
