Jaguar Land Rover Preps for Electric Era Moving SUV From UK

Jaguar Land Rover is moving all production of its Land Rover Discovery SUV to Slovakia from a plant near Birmingham, England, which will be retooled to accommodate a new generation of electric cars.........and it continues.

Well, the L462 was not on my shopping list anyway, but I guess it's cheaper labour costs for LR , I hope that the product does not suffer.

I read in LRO a couple of years ago that LR had bought land in Slovakia to build a plant, so not Brexit.

Mick, Genuine Land Rover parts have been made in other countries for many years, the vehicles are just assembled with the foreign made parts. Germany, China, Israel, Egypt, Solvenia etc etc, you be surprised where they are made when you see the genuine packaging. Don't assume just because its a pommy vehicle that the parts are also made there.
Have a look at the iPace.
Put a New Discovery body on it and you're away.
