Gunshot creek, a disaster waiting to happen?

Hi Guys, just thought i would voice my concern. I know that it it is very difficult to flip a car end over end however i cant help but think it may be possible for a vehicle to flip onto its lid at gunshot creek cape york.

flipping over in to a pool of water where you cannot open the doors due to the side wall of the track

Is this a disaster waiting to happen? is there even any point talking about it? should i go back to my armchair?

I'm sure the risk is increased but to get in you're generally going really slow and then at worst from what I've seen you'll land on your bullbar. There will always be someone that manages to flip it though.

Gunshot and the OTT is one of the great attractions up at Cape.
    Cheers

I wouldn't put a vehicle through that - at least not one I was hoping to drive home in!
The plethora of idiots that have resulted in the present condition of that once iconic spot should all hang their heads in shame.

We watched others do silly things (including a bloke in a hired Toyota!) and drove around it. I like to get home.

Wow, we drove over it in our old 2A Forward Control back in the 90,s and it looked nothing like that. I would not have recognised it.

If you choose to drive it and hurt yourself to any degree, it’s an apt result for the drivers intelligence.
