Well its been really good from my viewpoint....on my back.

I cant help feeling that the best racing so far this weekend has been put on by the super utes.....exciting, close , competitive...you cant really say they are slow, I think they are better to watch than the 86's.

I think its going be a ripper of a race all the same. Hopefully a changing of the guard.

Just watching the Super 2's now. Got to say that save from Dumbrell was bloody amazing and that could have been sooooo much worse. Hopefully they'll get him back out on the track.

Pickles - you'll be glad to know I'm enjoying it all - hope your weekend's going great too. 👍😊
Hello Gav, glad you're enjoying "Bathurst".
Yes, I think the twin cabs will eventually be very good, once they get up to around 20 entries.
The main race,....who will win?...I've got no idea, which makes it all the more enjoyable for me. I have a number of alternative choices as to who I would like to win,...Whincup because He is just so good, Davey because he & Betty are seen as the underdogs, Scotty because he is an all round good bloke, or the Walkinshaw team because I drive one of their cars!!!
So really, all I'm looking for is a good, clean, 1000 klm race,...Love it.
But of course, to set it all up for me, Wifey will prepare me my "Bathurst Breakfast",...a big fry up,...bacon & eggs, mushrooms, sausages, tomatoes, fried bread etc!!
It's gonna be a good day, Pickles.

I thought the same. Actually I think all national anthems sung like that at events sound terrible, especially when they all want to add their own little twag to it.

50 laps to go, the top 5 or 6 protagonists are pretty much nose to tail occupying the top spots, still doing 295+ down conrod. Going on their effort so far, Davey & erebus deserve the win,...but Bathurst is a cruel place. Second highest crowd ever, 206,000.
