In reverse. It sounds like they knew how to get rid of someone camped too close to them & it worked.

There were heaps of spare sites everywhere and bugger me dead on the 2nd day 2 vehicles and camper trailers move in right beside me and set up. I did the right thing and went and said hello and had a bit of a chat with them and found out they were staying several days as well (disappointed) I might add and wondered why they would want to set up right beside me when there were so many spare sites closer to the amenities. Anyhow their antics up till about 1130hrs was enough for me and I moved out next morning. Could not believe the noise they made without any consideration for their neighbour. They were from Vic and poms as well - need I say more!!

Two large dogs that don't like people getting too close to their ute has proven very effective for me .

The same neighbourly actions happen when you go into a near empty cafe and you want to have a private conversation with someone - you can guarantee that the next person/group that comes in will sit at the table right next to you even though the place is just about empty.

The same happens in the toilets these days - I was brought up that you gave the bloke next to you at the urinals the max possible room - him down one end and you down the other eyes in front .

Not these days - mateship and getting as close as possible seems to be the name of the game these days - hmm nothing to see here - move right along

It's to do with all this PC "reaching out" crap or in your case, not reaching out to the bloke in the next urinal pan.

No dogs in national parks is a real pain , haven't been able to train them to pretend that are not there when the ranger turns up.

An effective deterrent used by one of my mates was to wait until 'intruders' had half set up their camp and then play his air raid CD at full noise while letting go with a couple of shots from his 12 gauge - no words were spoken as he waved them goodbye!

What you really need is a can of "Doggy Invisi Spray". For applying to the Ranger not the dog. But if you sprayed both they'd be back to seeing each other, so no gain there then.

I agree re the cafe thing, it happens far too often for my liking but I have the opposite thing happening at the urinal.
Whenever I'm standing there everyone makes for a cubicle?

I'm not sure what that says about me? When someone camps right beside you.......When someone camps right beside you.......

Oh, and that's when I'm in tradie work wear too, not after hours stuff. When someone camps right beside you.......

Obviously two things. 1. They have you sussed or 2. they are trying to tell you something, Rick.
