If I can see the moon, but I can't see Tokyo, then logically wouldn't the moon be closer than Tokyo?

No. For a start, the moon is a lot bigger than Tokyo, even if it is further away, but the reason you can't see Tokyo (and for that matter the moon some of the time) is that there is a great lump of dirt and rock in the way.

I have always wondered why people ring Friday arvo, around 5.30 and say their cold room is warm.
And they also mention it hasn't worked well all day,and yesterday it was also a bit warm

Then complain when you mention overtime rates.....
