At an edificated guess I'd reckon about the same.

Checked the outdoor Rain Sensor & I reckon one of the two AA batteries was making poor contact so it appears ok at the mo.
Need more rain to check it properly/accurately.

Don't have a rain gauge, but if I read BOM right, Maleny only had 8mm, so we certainly need a lot more than that.

Not quite following your logic there - the burbs are no where near the mountains - prevailing weather is from the west so any heating goes east - anyway you been in the Lake - not much heat there.

Heat rises. I have never seen the lake frozen. Has anyone? I doubt it.
I only ever saw snow on the odd occasion when I lived there in 1981, 1985.
In 1980 I attended a conference there when there was a snowstorm and about 1 foot on the wings of planes. In a couple of days it was gone.
Once the front bearing snow has passed the weather does not come from the west.

I've never heard anyone say that. What I have heard are arguments that mans contribution may not be as great as is being implied.

Had about 2mm this morning - and now we have a dust storm! So much for the rain laying the dust. I have to go to town tomorrow, and I was hoping for the dust to be laid a bit!
