Weren't they Noah's last words, to which he added........ "If it rises above the Summit I'll just build a boat. Simples. Maybe Fibre Glass maybe Wood? Minimum timber strakes, two by two. We'll see at that moment. Now what about a Crew, lets see who is knocking around the Manor looking to Migrate."

I'm at 520m. Gunna tie a tinnie to the back deck. When it starts floating I'll start worrying.

Trivial but I had a massive mental health issue the last 8 or so months - Just make sure you ask a mate if they are OK...

Not trivial at all. Not enough people are open about what is a vital issue. Hope you have been getting help. It can keep you alive.

    And yes, RUOK?

Yes I'm going well thanks to support from family and friends - Honestly the fact that we don't talk about this side of life needs to change... Physical injuries are understood but not so much in the mind space [this is a non gender statement, all humans have times when they feel down and maybe suspect they have a lack of support but just talking can help so much]

Great. I agree, all humans have times, but often men will not talk about it for fear of showing weakness. But "toughing it out" doesn't work, it just isolates men even further.
Talking does help, there is no better therapy, and one can experience a huge amount of growth just by sharing.

Indeed. I decided to change it, at least for myself, by talking to anyone who would listen. I'm not ashamed to say that I have been seeing a psychologist regularly for over three years now. It gives me a "safe space", as it were. I also started a thread on here. The unexpected level of support was truly humbling, but also liberating.

I believe that I am still alive because I chose to be open, rather than shut in.

I wish you as much luck with it as I can, and hope for a good outcome. but, like most things, luck and hope don't mean much. It requires work, and honesty, and to do your best.

Every single thing you said is beautiful

Thank you for forging a path that we can all walk down

Talk may be cheap but it is helpful for a friend that just needs to talk things through

One thing I learnt is that you are not alone, unless you choose to be. Speak up. You will find yourself amongst friends here.

Provided they don't take offence. I believe most would have, (although not Massive) albeit a slight issue, but did not even realise it was happening. It will be the aftermath where it could occur when it could reveal itself with a vengeance although it might not obviously show up here as some day by day posts sound a bit dolally to begin with.
