Nor the fact that even not knowing there was such a word, WhoTF would even ask about it.

    Funny olde world ain't it?

Try this one for size. Glenelg (a beach in Adelaide)

With my new found knowledge, Glenelg is a Palindrome but not a Semordnilap.

GeezTrivia and other useless but interesting items

If the smart people in this world are so smart to come up for a word to describe another word, they could at least make up a word that is not so smart people can actually pronounce it🤬

Another one of these words that I heard lately, had know idea how to spell it after hearing it and definitely had no idea what it meant, until “Mr Google” helped out (with the spelling as well as the meaning) was petrichor (better check the spelling because autocorrect doesn’t even recognise it)

Next time after a good dry spell and the wet stuff falls from the sky, your nostrils will be able to coerce with your brain and say “that’s petrichor I can smell”

It will be pointless saying the phrase to anybody else because as with the word “semordnilap”, it will go in one ear and go out the other of the listener and instead of looking like a clever dick, you will look like a dick head

Now, is there a word for the way I have phrased the word “dick” in the one sentence , probably, but now it’s making me feel like one (hopefully the missus has the same thinking but in a different way)

    Bloody smart people ☹️☹️☹️
I might just catch a few with the trap I have posted on the “odd, interesting and funny pics” post 🤫

Reminds me of that Martian word "Nan-nu Nan-nu".

That could be a bit handy one day.

    That wasn't Martian, it's Orkian.

From the Orkney Islands perchance? Both of those languages sound pretty much the same to me.

A bit like English & Inuit. Not allowed to say Eskimo these days. Oh ****

    What does Nanu Nanu mean?

Nanu nanu (pronounced NAH-noo NAH-noo), also variously spelled Na-nu Na-nu, Na-No Na-No, and Nanoo Nanoo, is the typical Orkan greeting. Its usage may be similar to the Hawaiian word "aloha," which may be used as both a greeting and a farewell, since Mork also uses the phrase in his weekly mental reports to Orson.
