Trivia and other useless but interesting items

I always love the ripped off and over charged headlines on fuel. There is no set price and so it is whatever a competitive market allows the retailer to obtain

The question the media needs to be asking is about competition in the market and if as they are suggesting it does not work what needs to be done rather than just writing simple beat up stories

If I buy local at Co Op will pay about 5 pence a litre more than if I drive a few miles to a branded petrol station. Have never heard anyone saying the Co Op is ripping off people or over charging

The UK does not see the weekly price swings with peaks on a Thursday as people are generally paid monthly

Bitcoin mining worldwide uses a lot of electricity, more than Argentina or Finland or the Netherlands I've heard at various times. If it was a country it would be the 30th largest user.

Don’t knock it till you tried it
Salted Chips and ice cream is good
When I used to visit the shop shall we call big M, I’d get large chips and caramel sunday
Dip the chips in the sunday
Ice cream will go even better with your version of the chip butty [emoji16][emoji16]
