Triva- how long before that is passed on in full to people with loans? Not long promise. Not Trivia perhaps is how long banks reduce interest rates when rates fall perhaps[bigwhistle][bigwhistle]

Other Trivia. Melbourne cup started at ??? Silly me found LIVE AND FREE racing on Chanel 7! Issue was the cup was shown live on C10[bigrolf][bigrolf][bigrolf] I saw the last few hundred metres[thumbsupbig]

The one i went to school with was a great friend,they lived just down the road in a Fibro shack.Same year all through school,same classes.
He was in the Army for a while,before venturing into politics,then moved on from that as well.

Although there was a bit of a bump in the road for a couple of years, as his old man owned the local Bike Shop[bighmmm][bigrolf]

His old man lost the use of his legs later on,some disease,poor guy.

One I went to school with was a former Premier of Victoria. I was great mates with his brother. The Latin teacher referred to them both as Equus, if that gives you a clue.

Well let that be a lesson to you sonny Jim if you want to run with horses you gotta Reserve a Starting Box well before hand.

Learnt that lesson well. I do not bet or gamble which I do not except a few silly times a long time ago. Hobart Casino gave me $6k plus in the 80s after a Night shift on a Ship named Hobart. Waiting for several mates during the day, I sat at a $2 black Jack Table. I will not give it back [biggrin][biggrin] The 6K was what was in my pocket the next day as I did spend some of the winnings on a few things I was told by my mates with sore heads the next morning[bigrolf]

Horses on the other hand - If I picked it to win It will run LAST [bigrolf]

Goes to her Club the other week & comes home with 2 grand. She bought her Hubby a new electric scooter.

A **** driver at the best of times being the bloke waiting at the head of a traffic que that always moves off as the lights turn red. She had her left eye removed about 4 weeks ago as she had lost the sight in that eye due to Cancer. I guess she deserves A Pokie win now & then, as she often has winnings of a Grand or rmore.
