    Bird in the Hand Mine at Woodside at one time used the mine for storage but later the vineyards were planted over the mine workings. So I am led to believe.

    Interesting. I wasn't aware that there were originally 17 Gold Mines up this way.. Gives new meaning to the Nimby Project "Not in my back Yard" & certainly not in mine, but one lives in hope when ever one puts a spade into the soil or digs out the creek. A new Ballarat?     That link is gold (so to speak) where the lawyers accidentally cc'd the intent to the potential victims, including strategy.

    I've seen this before a few times in unrelated fields, almost as if God (whoever she is) presses the inadvertent reveal all button in bad people's heads when they're up to no good and the whole world ends up finding out.
